Ashley Tisdale is an actress and model who has recently started to pursue a music career. She is best known for a number of roles in family marketed television series and movies produced by the Disney Channel.
Ashley Tisdale was born in West Deal, New Jersey on July 2, 1985. Her grandfather Arnold Morris is known for marketing the well known Ginsu Knife. She began acting as a child, being discovered by manager Bill Perlman when she was just three years old. At the age of twelve, she sang at the White House for President Bill Clinton.
Ashley Tisdale's acting career started to take off when she was in her late teens, during the late nineties. She primarily worked as a television actress, but also had occasional film roles such as a small appearance in cult film favorite "Donnie Darko" and a voiceover part in the 1999 computer animated summer hit "A Bug's Life"
