Amanda Bynes was born April 3rd, 1986 to parents Rick and Lynn in Thousand Oaks, California. She has an older brother, Tommy, and an older sister, Jillian, both of whom work in the medical profession. She began her acting career early, performing in stage productions of Annie, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music during her childhood, and attending a acting camps at the age of 8. Nickelodeon, in their comedy serials, Figure It Out, and All That. She was next given her own show on the network, called The Amanda Show, where she hosted a series of comedic sketches, and even stalked herself, playing an obsessive Amanda fan named Penelope Taynt.
