Evan Rachel Wood




Evan Rachel Wood (born September 7, 1987) is an American actress and singer.

Wood began her acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in several television series, including American Gothic and Once and Again. She made her debut as a leading film actress in 2002's Little Secrets and became well-known after her transition to a more adult-oriented Golden Globe–nominated role in the critically-acclaimed film Thirteen (2003).

Wood continued acting mostly in independent films, including Pretty Persuasion (2005), Down in the Valley (2006), Running With Scissors (2006), and in the big studio production Across the Universe (2007). Wood's acting has drawn critical praise, and she has been described by The Guardian newspaper as being "wise beyond her years" and as "one of the best actresses of her generation." Her relationship with singer Marilyn Manson, whom she dated from December 2006 through October 2008, received considerable news coverage

Eva Mendes



Eva Mendes (born March 5, 1974) is an American actress. She began acting in the late 1990s, and became known after a series of roles in several major Hollywood films, including 2 Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, Training Day, Ghost Rider and We Own the Night.

One day Mendes caught the eye of an agent who convinced her to pursue acting more steadily. She worked her way up through commercials to music videos, including an appearance in Will Smith's video "Miami" and the Pet Shop Boys music video for "Se a vida é (That’s the way life is)" in 1996 and Aerosmith's video "Hole in My Soul" in 1997, to guest roles in soap operas and supporting film roles. Her first film appearance was in the direct-to-video Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror.

Mendes received her first big-screen break when she appeared in the award-winning and critically-acclaimed Training Day. That performance led to roles in Stuck on You, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and as the female lead in the comedy Hitch opposite Will Smith. Her role in Once Upon a Time in Mexico also gave her a nomination at the Teen Choice Awards. Mendes has also been in commercials for Gushers, Revlon, and Levi's. Mendes costarred in Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage, and most recently starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, and Robert Duvall in the film We Own the Night.

Along with acting, Mendes is employed by Revlon Cosmetics as an international spokeswoman. She joins such elite actresses and models as Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Cindy Crawford, who appear in Revlon's television and print ads. She is also a passionate supporter and active participant in Revlon's fight against breast cancer.

Eva Longoria



Eva Jacqueline Longoria Parker (born March 15, 1975) is an American Golden Globe-nominated and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning film and television actress. She rose to fame by playing Isabella Braña Williams on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. She now plays Gabrielle Solis in the ABC television series Desperate Housewives. She has also become a nationally recognized model after appearing in several high-profile advertising campaigns and numerous men's magazines, reaching #14 in the FHM "Sexiest Women 2008" poll. Longoria is also known for her relationship with NBA guard Tony Parker, whom she married in 2007.

Warren was born in Peterborough, Ontario, the daughter of Esther, an elementary school principal, and Don Warren, a used car dealer. As a synchronized swimmer, she represented Canada at the World Aquatic Championships. She moved to Toronto at the age of twelve to train with the national synchronized swimming team, and after becoming the senior national champion at seventeen, Warren had the chance to move on to the 1996 Summer Olympics. Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England on April 15, 1990. At school, she took the lead role in several plays including "Arthur: The Young Years" and "The Happy Prince". Pompeo was born in Everett, Massachusetts. She is Irish on her mother's side of the family and Italian on her father's, Joseph Pompeo. Pompeo is a Catholic. Born as Eleanor Nancy Gow in New South Wales, Australia in 1964, Elle MacPhearson is one of the world's leading supermodels. Growing up Elle had four siblings, of which she was the oldest. When she was fourteen her parents got divorced and Elle later changed her name when her mom remarried Neil MacPherson.

Modeling was not a career that Elle chased over, but rather one that chased after her as she was discovered when she was on vacation in Tasmania. She was signed with Chick Model Management. Elizabeth Hurley



An English actress born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in 1965, Elizabeth Hurley has managed to make a name for herself in both England and the United States. Hurley originally wanted to become a dancer and at the age of twelve she attended a private boarding school for dancing, but later decided to leave the school. Later Hurley won a scholarship to the London Studio Centre and took several courses in dance and theater.

Hurley's break actually did not come from film or dance, but rather from a local newspaper in Winchester, England where she won a "Face of the Year" competition. As the winner she received a one-year modeling contract with a London firm. In 1988 Hurley starred in a BBC movie, Christabel, as the title character, Cristabel Bielenberg. She starred in several other small movies before landing a role on the Wesley Snipes blockbuster Passenger 57 in 1992, which served to not only further her career, but also to introduce her to American audiences.

Elizabeth Berkley



Born in 1972, film star Elizabeth Berkley was five when her parents first enrolled her at Detroit Dance Company, and it wasn't long before she began to take part in several ballets. This line up included the impressive "Swan Lake" when she was only eleven years old, and she even starred in some musicals that required her to learn Italian.

With that kind of early dedication and devotion to her love of the dramatic, it was probably no surprise to those in Berkley's life when she was cast in a television movie a few years later or when she began receiving reoccurring roles in television series. Eventually she got the role of Jesse Spano in the television series Saved by the Bell. Berkley was only sixteen when she got the role and before she knew what was going on she found herself caught up in the unexpected whirlwind of the series' success.

After four seasons on Saved by the Bell, Berkley decided to leave the popular sitcom in order to pursue other screen opportunities as well as attend college. However, it was the 1995 release of the movie, Showgirls that eventually garnered her international attention for the racy role of Nomi Malone in the NC-17 rated film. Unfortunately it was not the type of attention she wanted, as the movie was a box office bomb that was panned by critics everywhere.

Eliza Dushku



Born to parents of Albanian and Danish descent in Massachusetts in December of 1980, her parents later divorced when she was still very young. In 1990 Dushku went to an audition for a commercial where she accidentally fell. The minor spill resulted in a nosebleed that Dushku played up so well that she impressed the judges with her flair for the dramatic. After that Dushku began starring in films and television as early as 1992 when she was discovered after a participating in a nationwide search for her role in the movie, That Night.

However, Dushku claims that it was actually the movie, This Boy's Life, in which she co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, that opened a lot of doors for her. In fact, the next year, 1994, Dushku found herself working with Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and James Belushi, in the action-packed movie, True Lies.

Elisha Cuthbert



Elisha Cuthbert was born in Alberta, Canada in 1982. When she was only seven, Cuthbert began modeling for children's clothing and footwear. In 1996, at the age of fourteen she managed to get a small role on the television series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. The character was only named as "young girl", but Cuthbert had succeeded in garnering enough attention to later get her a reoccurring role on the series as well as another role in the dramatic family movie Dancing on the Moon.

That same year, 1997, she began hosting the show, Popular Mechanics for Kids, and continued to do so until 2000. She often acted as a foreign correspondent for the show, flying around the world to get interviews and report of foreign affairs. Hillary Clinton noticed her reporting and later invited her to visit the White House.

Elena Dementieva



The Russian pro tennis player, Elena Vyacheslavovna Dementieva, was born in Moscow in 1981. Elena's rise to a professional athlete started at the tender age of thirteen when she entered and won her first international tournament in France. Four years later she became a professional tennis player in 1998, and took a spot in the top 100 players in 1999. It was during 1999 when she represented her home country of Russia against Venus Williams in the Fed Cup.

However, Elena would face Venus again at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Australia. She ultimately lost the gold medal to Venus, but brought home the silver medal. Also in that year, Elena was named the Women's Tennis Association's Most Improved Player after ranking in their top twenty. The next year she once again made the top twenty ranking, beating Anna Kournikova out of her four-year position as the top ranked Russian tennis player. Shortly after achieving this ranking Elena injured her shoulder while in Australia, forcing her to change her serve in order to be able to continue playing.

Drew Barrymore



Drew Barrymore is one of the most popular American actresses today, and she is also a film producer and owner of Flower Films. Barrymore began her career as a child actress, has dealt with various drug and alcohol problems, and has posed naked for Playboy in addition to making a number of films in multiple genres.

Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975, in Culver City California. Both of her parents were actors, as is her half brother John Blyth Barrymore and many of her ancestors. Her first job came at the age of eleven months when she appeared in a dog food commercial. She got her first real role at age five in "Altered States," and a year later, she hit it big with her role in "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial." In 1984, at the age of nine, she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe for "Irreconcilable Differences."

Denise Richards



Born on February 17, 1971, Denise is an American actress and former fashion model. She became famous in the late 1990s, after a string of films that highlighted her sex appeal, including Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and The World Is Not Enough. She also has her own reality TV show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated which airs on E!.

In 2002, she married actor Charlie Sheen, with whom she appeared in Scary Movie 3, in which she played his character's wife who was pinned to a tree in a car accident. They have two daughters, Sam J and Lola Rose Sheen.

In March 2005, Richards filed for divorce from Sheen. The couple briefly reconciled and were seeking marriage counseling to mend their relationship. Born May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona) is a Maltese-American actress who is best known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on the 1990s TV sitcom Boy Meets World. She later appeared in National Lampoon's Dorm Daze and its sequel, and was a spokesperson for NutriSystem. She currently hosts The Dish.

In real life, Fishel dated her Boy Meets World co-star, Ben Savage. Born on August 7, 1975 in Benoi, South Africa, Theron (pronounced, in her own words, as "thrown") of French/German descent, she started modeling at the age of 16, after having won a modeling contract in Milan. When the contract expired, she was in New York, and decided to stay there to pursue a dancing career. She enrolled in the Joffrey Ballet School but unfortunately an injury at the age of 18 put paid to her dancing aspirations.

Since she was unable to dance, she tried her luck at acting and moved to Los Angeles. She was first cast in a non-speaking role eight months later in an indie movie. Charisma Lee Carpenter is an American actress born on July 23, 1970 at Las Vegas, Nevada. She is widely known for the role of Cordelia Chase, in the TV series of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". She attended Bishop Gorman High School, located also in her homeland. But at the age of 15, her family relocated to Rosario B.C. in Mexico and after that to Chula Vista, San Diego. After her graduation in San Diego in year 1991, she went joined cheering squad before pursuing a Hollywood career. She is also fond of sky diving. Even as she a child, Charisma was always interested in the art of acting and classical ballet.

Charisma was scouted by a commercial agent during one of her part time jobs as a waitress in Mirabelle Restaurant. From here on she was featured in several roles in television advertisements. Tara Leigh Patrick was born on 20 April 1972 at Sharonville, Ohio. It was a suburb in Cincinnati. Both Brooke and her brother Nick the dork were home-schooled. While in high school, she took dance classes, voice lessons, gymnastics, and cheerleading. This Southern girl was born on the 16th of March 1978 in Dallas Texas. Her parents have reared her together with her other 2 siblings with encouragement to reach their goals.
